Caribbean Stud poker

Caribbean Stud Poker is standard Five-Card Stud Poker with a slight twist: one dealer card always gets displayed. Players compete against a dealer rather than other players. The objective of Caribbean Stud Poker is to beat the dealer’s hand.

After placing an ante bet, player & dealer each receive five cards; one dealer card gets dealt face up. A player must now decide either fold because they can't beat the dealer’s hand or raise & challenge. Choose fold, lose ante bet & game is over. Choose raise, double ante bet, dealer reveals his remaining cards & a winner will be determined. Winnings are paid if applicable & game is over.

Determining a winner in Caribbean Stud Poker if a player has raised. A dealer’s hand must first “qualify”. When playing Caribbean Stud Poker a dealer’s hand qualifies with an Ace - King or a Pair or better. Dealer’s hand does not qualify you win 1 to 1 on ante bet & “push” raise bet.

Dealer’s hand does qualify, best ranking hand wins. Dealer’s hand ranks higher - lose both ante bet & raise bet. Your hand ranks higher - win 1 to 1 on ante bet & win the raise bet calculated according to Raise Pay Table. Both hands have same rank - highest ranking card determines winner.

There are three Caribbean pay tables that a casino can uses paying out winnings. You can tell which Caribbean pay table the casino uses by looking in “Payout's” box.
